Instructor's Course
Overview:
This course is for college, industry, vocational, and university level instructors who plan to teach computer integrated manufacturing. The course features hands-on familiarization with Amatrol's robotics systems, 860 series CIM systems, and 880 series MiniCIM systems. Students will learn how to program robots, CNC machines, PLC -controlled conveyors, discrete I/O interfacing and communications, RS-232 and RS-485 serial communications/data manipulation, and PLC communications using RSLogix/RSLinks and an |

| Allen-Bradley 1747-KE module. Attendees will learn through a combination of individualized, hands-on learning with Amatrol robots/ CIM system and group instruction of concepts and principles. |
| Pre-Requisites:
Basic Programmable Controllers Instructors Course (either Allen-Bradley or Siemens S7 PLCs) or Basic Programmable Controllers Exemption Test. Knowledge of Mechatronics, Robotics and CNC will be helpful in the class. |
