Course
Overview: This course is designed for college, industry, vocational, and university level instructors who have taught basic computer integrated manufacturing and wish to expand their skills in material tracking, enterprise resource planning, and Ethernet communications. Students will learn how to use serial communication with barcode technology in tracking material flow on a pallet transfer conveyor, Ethernet, operation as well as TCP /IP protocol. They will also learn how to use CIM software for Enterprise Resource Planning, Manufacturing Resource Planning, Inventory

| Management, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Routing, Cost Estimating, Manufacturing Order Management, Production Planning, Human Machine Interface, Simulation, and Order Execution. Attendees will learn through a combination of individualized, hands-on learning with Amatrol robots/ CIM system and group instruction of concepts and principles. |
| Pre-Requisites: PLC Programming and Troubleshooting (either Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs) Instructors
