Advanced Fluid Power - Hydraulics

Instructor Course Overview:  This course is for college, industry, vocational, and university level instructors who have taught fluid power, both hydraulics and pneumatics, and wish to develop skills in hydraulic troubleshooting and advanced hydraulic systems. The course builds on the concepts presented in Amatrol’s Fluid Power Basics Instructor Training. It features hands-on familiarization with Amatrol’s training system for hydraulic troubleshooting (model 950-HT1).

Amatrol's Fluid Power Training System

Students will practice troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic systems using an advanced hydraulic trainer with live fault insertion capability. New components covered include: 2-stage DCVs, counterbalance valves, sandwich valves, pressure-compensated pumps, pressure and temperature compensated flow control valves, cylinder cushions, cross-cushion relief valves, unloader valves, and hi-lo pumps. Attendees will learn through a combination of individualized, hands-on learning with hydraulic trainers and group instruction of concepts and principles.

Pre-Requisites:   Fluid Power Basics Course or Fluid Power Basics Exemption Test
Course Length: 24 Hours
Daily Schedule: Mon. thru Wed. 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Course Tuition: $550 (if not included with equipment purchase)
Administrative Fee: $75 (includes hotel-to-plant shuttle, lunch, course materials) The administrative fee is required for all class registrations.
Course Features: Includes course tuition, hotel-to-plant shuttle, lunch, course materials, and certificate of completion for 24 hours.
