Advanced Fluid Power - Pneumatics
Instructor Course Overview:  This course is for college, industry, vocational, and university level instructors who have taught fluid power, both hydraulics and pneumatics, and wish to develop skills in pneumatics troubleshooting and advanced pneumatics systems. The course builds on the concepts presented in Amatrol’s Fluid Power Basics Instructor Training. It features hands-on familiarization with Amatrol’s training system for hydraulic troubleshooting (model 950-PT1).
Amatrol's Fluid Power Training System
Students will learn how to troubleshoot and maintain pneumatics systems using an advanced hydraulic trainer with live fault insertion capability. New components covered include: filters, lubricator, regulator, rodless cylinders, air-over-oil systems, quick exhaust valves, and vacuum systems. Attendees will learn through a combination of individualized, hands-on learning with hydraulic trainers and group instruction of concepts and principles.
Pre-Requisites:   Fluid Power Basics Course or Fluid Power Basics Exemption Test
Course Length: 12 Hours
Daily Schedule: Thurs. 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; Fri 8:00am to 12:00 pm
Course Tuition: $350 (if not included with equipment purchase)
Administrative Fee: $50 (includes hotel-to-plant shuttle, lunch, course materials) The administrative fee is required for all class registrations.
Course Features: Includes course tuition, hotel-to-plant shuttle, lunch, course materials, and certificate of completion for 12 hours.
