Instructor's Course
Overview: This course is for college, industry, vocational, high school, and university level instructors who plan to teach basic concepts and skills in fluid power. Students who have no background in this field or desire to become familiar with Amatrol's curriculum for this level will gain significantly from the course. It features hands-on familiarization with Amatrol's basic and intermediate level fluid power training systems (850 models) and curriculum in both print-based and interactive CDROM formats. |
|
| Students explore basic principles of fluid science, component operation, circuit design, and applications. Hydraulic components include: fixed pumps, cylinders, motors, flow control valves, pressure-compensated flow control valves, pressure control valves, gages, flow meters, directional control valves, check valves, and accumulators. Pneumatic components include: cylinders, motors, flow control valves, pressure regulators, gages, flow meters, check valves, and directional control valves. The instructor will demonstrate and discuss electrical control of fluid power components using the Amatrol 85-EF training system. Attendees will learn through a combination of individualized, hands-on learning with hydraulic trainers and group instruction of concepts and principles. |
