Advanced Hydraulics Instructor Training Course

Course Overview: This course is designed for college, industry, vocational, and university level instructors who plan to teach advanced concepts and troubleshooting skills in hydraulics and either who have a background beyond the basics in this field or desire to become familiar with Amatrol's curriculum for this level. It features hands-on familiarization with Amatrol's 950-HT1 Hydraulics Troubleshooting Learning System and print-based curriculum.

This course is designed to build on the concepts presented in Amatrol's Basic Hydraulics course.

Hydraulic Troubleshooting System

It prepares the instructors to teach skills in advanced hydraulic systems and hydraulic troubleshooting. Students will learn how to troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic systems using an advanced hydraulic trainer with live fault insertion capability. New components covered include: 2-stage DCVs, counterbalance valves, sandwich valves, pressure-compensated pumps, pressure and temperature compensated flow control valves, cylinder cushions, cross-cushion relief valves, unloader valves, and hi-lo pumps. Attendees will learn through a combination of individualized, hands-on learning with hydraulic trainers and group instruction of concepts and principles.

Pre-Requisites:   Amatrol's Basic Hydraulics Course or equivalent experience.
Course Length: 36 Hours
Daily Schedule: Mon. thru Thurs. 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; Fri 8:00am to 12:00 pm
Course Tuition: $895 (if not included with equipment purchase)
Administratrive Fee: $125 (includes hotel-to-plant shuttle, lunch, course materials)
