Robot Communications Module – 23007

The model 23007 Robot Communications Module adds to Amatrol servo robots to provide two additional RS-232 serial communications ports that can be used for control and file transfer. The powerful Amatrol robot language, MCL II, has serial communications commands that use these ports to send and receive serial data. Applications include sending control signals to start and stop a CNC machine, interfacing to a vision system, receiving barcode data, and receiving measurement gauge data. The Amatrol MCL II language also includes program commands that analyze the data received.

The 23007 Module includes a communications card that is compatible with Amatrol servo robots having a PCI slot. The serial connector for each port is a 9-Pin connector.
