The model 83-116A Robotic Workstation provides a heavy-duty, mobile workstation capable of supporting industrial quality robots, feeders, fixtures and other accessories. The workstation is constructed of heavy-duty welded tube steel and includes patented interchangeable work surfaces. The interchangeable work surfaces can be quickly removed from and attached to the workstation to enable fixtures and tooling to be setup separately and later attached to the workstation. This feature allows multiple student groups to more effectively share the use of the robotic workstation and allows applications to be set up more quickly.

The 83-166A includes (3) interchangeable work surfaces. Each work surface is made of precision-ground, tooling grade aluminum for lightweight and durability. Fixtures can be flexibly mounted using the precision-drilled hole pattern. Lift handles make them very portable. The 83-116A Workstation also includes slide-in storage for four additional tooling surfaces.

The 83-116A Robotics Workstation can be linked to other workstations or an Amatrol 860 series conveyor to create multi-workstation applications with FMS cells and CNC machine tools. The model 88-207 Quick Release Connectors make connection of workstations a quick and easy task.
