Electro-Hydraulics Learning System – 85-EH
The model 85-EH Electro-Hydraulics Learning System adds to the model 850-H1 Basic Hydraulics Learning System and model 85-IH Intermediate Hydraulics Learning System to teach electrical relay control of hydraulic systems and its industry applications. Students will learn industry-relevant skills related to these new topics including how to operate, install, analyze performance, and design electro-hydraulic systems.
The 85-EH provides students with the components to set up a variety of industrial automation relay control circuits using ladder diagrams and Boolean logic. Relay control is a fundamental building block in the study of automation because programmable controllers and solid-state controls also use the same programming methods.
The model 85-EH includes an Electrical Control Module with relay control components and Electrical Valve Module with solenoid operated directional control valves and electrical / electronic sensors; lead set; student learning materials for both theory and lab; and teacher’s guide.
Components are pre-mounted to panels and include quick disconnect fittings to enable students to quickly set up circuits by eliminating the need for mechanical mounting. These panels are designed to mount to a common table-top surface or the 850 workstation. They can be interfaced with other panels from the basic and intermediate level systems to replicate a variety industrial applications.
