The model 850-H1 Basic Hydraulics Learning System teaches fundamentals of hydraulic systems used in industrial, agricultural, and mobile applications. Students learn industry-relevant skills including how to operate, install, analyze performance, and design basic hydraulic systems.

The model 850-H1 includes an industrial hydraulic power supply, mobile workstation, actuator component module, valve component module, instrumentation panel, hose and fittings set, supply and return manifolds, student learning materials for both theory and lab, and teacher’s guide. This system uses industrial quality components to help students become better prepared for what they will encounter on the job and to withstand frequent student use.

The mobile workstation is constructed of heavy-duty welded steel. A drip pan is provided on the work surface for setting up circuit applications. The hydraulic valve and actuator modules consist of a variety of components to enable students to set many different applications. Components are pre-mounted to panels and include quick disconnect fittings to enable students to quickly set up circuits by eliminating the need for mechanical mounting. These panels are designed to attach to the workstation and to be interchanged with optional panels that can be added later to the system for more advanced study.

The instrumentation supplied with the system consists of high quality industrial pressure gauges and flow meter, which are mounted to the workstation as part of the instrumentation panel. The system is also equipped with static and dynamic load devices to enable students to recreate the wide variety of conditions under which hydraulic systems typically operate.

The 850 series workstation accommodates three panels at the same time on the work surface and stores an additional four panels under the work surface.
