Basic Pneumatics Learning System – 850-P1
The model 850-P1 Basic Pneumatics Learning System teaches fundamentals of pneumatic systems used in industrial, agricultural, and mobile applications. Students learn industry-relevant skills including how to operate, install, analyze performance, and design basic pneumatic systems.
The model 850-P1 includes a mobile workstation, actuator/valve component module, instrumentation panel, hose and fittings set, student learning materials for both theory and lab, and teacher’s guide. This system uses industrial quality components to help students become better prepared for what they will encounter on the job and to withstand frequent student use.
The mobile workstation is constructed of a heavy-duty welded steel frame and provides a work surface on which to set up circuit applications. The pneumatic valve/actuator module consists of a variety of components to enable students to set many different applications. Components are pre-mounted to panels and include quick disconnect fittings to enable students to quickly set up circuits by eliminating the need for mechanical mounting. These panels are designed to attach to the workstation and to be interchanged with optional panels that can be added later to the system for more advanced study.
The instrumentation supplied with the system consists of high quality industrial pressure gauges, manometer, and rotameter-type flow meter, which are mounted to the workstation as part of the instrumentation panel.
Additional panels are also available to extend the learning capabilities of the 850-P1 system to intermediate levels and beyond. The 850 series workstation accommodates three panels at the same time on the work surface and stores four additional panels under the work surface.
