The model 88-LT2-A Linear Traverse Axis adds to Amatrol Pegasus servo robots to provide robotic applications with a servo-controlled linear traverse axis. The traverse axis extends the reach of the robot, giving it a larger work envelope that can be used to service multiple machines or devices in a workcell.

The 88-LT2-A uses a precision ball screw with DC servo motor drive to provide smooth, precise movement. When connected to one of Amatrol’s servo robot controls, the robot program can command the traverse axis to move the robot to a specific position along the traverse axis’ length of travel. The base is 49.5 inches long. The traverse axis has a travel distance of 1016 mm travel (40-in).
