The Amatrol 910-QC3 Metrology Learning System provides study of measurement tools commonly used in industry. These tools include: Plug Gauge, Thread Gauge, Snap Gauge, Dial Depth Gauge, Vermont Step Gauge, Dial Bore Gauge, Calipers, Micrometer, and Blocks. Students will learn operation, setup, calibration, and application.

The 910-QC3 Metrology Learning System consists of industrial quality gauging tools and test parts with good and bad dimensions. Students will learn how to interpret part tolerances on technical drawings and use these new gauging tools to measure in order to determine if a part meets the specifications. Most tools and parts are designed to mount to the maple top workbench workstation..

The snap gauge provides quick and highly accurate measurement of outside diameters of cylindrical parts. The gauge uses a channel lock style clamping mechanism with square tungsten carbide anvils to hold the part. Once set using a master part, the built-in digital indicator provides measurement of the difference between the test part and the master part.

The thread gauge of the 910-QC3 is a go – no go gauge that measures threaded parts to determine if the threads are within the tolerance specification. The 910-QC3 thread gauge is a heavy-duty industrial thread gauge for internal threads. The gauge has interchangeable heads that can be changed to gauge different thread sizes.
