Robotics & Computer Programming 1 Learning System – 94-RCP-1-A

Request Information

Amatrol’s 94-RCP-1-A Robotics & Computer Programming 1 Learning System is a turnkey solution designed to teach programming, interface and material handling, design, quality control, production control, and workcell development using robotics. The Amatrol Pegasus robot is a very powerful teaching robot with a programming language containing over 140 executable industrial commands. Simulation software allows students to test programs. Students will develop programs to allow the robot to function as both a cell controller and a manipulator.

The model 94-RCP-1-A includes an articulated servo robot, robot controller, teach pendant, programming cable, robot control software, flexible workstation, controller mounting module, keyboard and monitor module, utilities distribution module, electrical power module, compressed air distribution module, basic parts set, gravity feeder, application workcell package, robotic simulation software, robotic conveyor module, student curriculum and instructor’s assessment guide.

Pegasus Robotic Simulation Software

Amatrol’s Pegasus Robotic Simulation Software allows students to program and experience a virtual robot. Simulating test programs allows students to test ideas without harming the robot.

Simulation software also leverages hardware investment by allowing more then one student to develop skills at a time.

Integrated Workstation

The 94-RCP-1-A includes a flexible workstation that provides everything needed to deliver training in a small amount of space. The heavy duty steel workstation allows addition of items such as a computer, keyboard, and monitor.

Expand the Capabilities of 94-RCP-1-A

Amatrol’s Robotics and Computer Programming Learning System 1 can be expanded and enhanced with the following options:

Optional Multimedia, CD-11801

In addition to the Amatrol print based curriculum, the 94-RCPA-1 can be enhanced with the use of multimedia. Amatrol’s strong interactive multimedia includes visual, auditory, and text based learning styles to reinforce each other in well organized learning segments. Eye-popping graphics, 3D simulation, video, and complete explanations combine with strong interactivity to develop technical skills and enhance student learning.

Optional Flexible Manufacturing Learning System 1, 94-FMS-1-A

In addition to the Robotics and Computer Programming Learning System students can expand on their knowledge with the Flexible Manufacturing Learning System which can be added to the 94-RCP-1-A. Students learn skills in linear motion, world and tool coordinates, ASCII data manipulation, palletizing, barcode readers, digital gauging, CNC workcells, serial communications, multitasking, and interrupts. These capabilities are commonly found in the current generation of industrial robots students will encounter in industry.
