Diaphragm Pump Learning System – 95-PM1-C
The model 95-PM1-C Diaphragm Pump Learning System adds to the model 950-PM1 Pumps Learning System to teach skills related to diaphragm pumps. Diaphragm pumps use compressed air to transfer fluids that are too difficult for other pump types. When fluids are too viscous, corrosive, abrasive, or hot, the diaphragm pump is often the solution. Paints, resins, printing ink, chemicals, glue, food, mud, and waste oils are just a few of the products that are transported with the diaphragm pumps. Diaphragm pumps also have the ability to work totally submerged or they can run dry or become clogged without damage. Students will learn a comprehensive set of industry-relevant skills including how to operate, install, maintain, troubleshoot, analyze performance, and select diaphragm pumps.
The model 95-PM1-C includes an industrial quality pump, air regulator, air lubricator, air gauge, air muffler, piping network for connection to suction and pressure lines, and student learning materials for both theory and lab. The teacher’s guide materials are included in the 950-PM1 base system. The diaphragm pump is a heavy-duty industrial quality component that will withstand frequent student use and better prepare students for what they will encounter on the job.
