The Model 95-PM1-D Peristaltic Pump Learning System adds to the model 950-PM1 Pumps Learning System to teach skills related to peristaltic pumps. Peristaltic pumps, also known as tubing pumps, are used to transfer fluids that cannot come in contact with the working parts of the pump. The fluids in these pumps are kept separate, eliminating contamination of the fluids by the pump. Peristaltic pumps are also used to transport corrosive fluids. They feature precise control of flow with no shearing action, making them ideal for applications in chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology products. Students will learn a comprehensive set of industry-relevant skills including how to operate, install, maintain, troubleshoot, analyze performance, and select peristaltic pumps.

The model 95-PM1-D includes an industrial quality pump with polycarbonate housing, steel pump head, foot mounting, maintenance key tool, piping network, and student learning materials for both theory and lab. The teacher’s guide materials are included in the 950-PM1 base system.
