The model 95-PM1-F Gear Pump Learning System adds to the model 950-PM1 Pumps Learning System to teach skills related to gear pumps. Gear pumps are simple, inexpensive pumps. They are used to transfer many different kinds of fluids under pressure. Gear pumps are used in hydraulic systems, pressure washing, and for liquid recirculation. Students will learn a comprehensive set of industry-relevant skills including how to operate, install, maintain, troubleshoot, analyze performance, and select gear pumps.

The model 95-PM1-F includes an industrial quality gear pump foot mount, relief valve, coupling half, piping network for connection to suction and pressure lines, and student learning materials for both theory and lab. The teacher’s guide materials are included in the 950-PM1 base system. The gear pump is an industrial quality component with bronze housing, bronze gears, rotary gear design that will withstand frequent student use and better prepare students for what they will encounter on the job.
