The model 95-PM1-G Magnetic Pump Learning System adds to the model 950-PM1 Pumps Learning System to teach skills related to magnetic pumps. The magnetic pump, a type of centrifugal pump, uses a magnetic coupling between the drive shaft and the impeller wheel, enabling it to handle fluids without the fluids coming in contact with the working parts of the pump. This pump is used with corrosive fluids in applications such as manufacturing of chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology products. Students will learn a comprehensive set of industry-relevant skills including how to operate, install, maintain, troubleshoot, analyze performance, and select magnetic pumps.

The model 95-PM1-G includes a magnetic pump with C-face mount, piping network for connection to suction and pressure lines, and student learning materials for both theory and lab. The teacher’s guide materials are included in the 950-PM1 base system.
