Tablets - Amatrol
Amatrol’s eLearning and Learning Management System (LMS) are now fully compatible with an array of tablet computers. Amatrol is committed to providing anytime/anywhere access to our eLearning and LMS, and the mobility of tablets allows us to expand our definition of “anywhere” for the convenience of people using our systems. As long as there is internet access, Amatrol seeks to meet training needs wherever and whenever a learner’s busy schedule allows.
Thus far, the list of tested tables includes:
- Windows tablets running Windows 8 or Windows RT operating systems
- iPad (2nd gen) – Model #MC979LL/A
- iPad (3rd gen) – Model #MD328LL/A
- iPad (4th gen)
- ASUS Nexus 7
- DigiLand – 7“ – 8GB
- Google Nexus 5
- Google Nexus 6
- Kindle Fire running OS 2.2 or higher
- iPhone 5c
- iPod Touch
Learners can use these tablets to access eLearning courses and take quizzes while administrators can use the tablets in classrooms or industrial training programs with full confidence in tracking and reporting learner progress. Tablet-based learning has opened up a new world of self-paced, individual-focused learning where trainees can direct their own learning, return to topics they struggle with, and skim through subjects they already know. This approach untethers learners from a classroom and allows them to study in real-world environments to build the strongest applicable industrial competencies.
An important feature of Amatrol’s tablet compatibility is that our eLearning works with the tablet’s native operating system for a seamless experience. This means that users don’t have to remember to update a third-party app or worry about the app becoming incompatible with the operating system.
